Looking to LCS to show Leadership

16 March 2020

With continuing uncertainty around the ongoing impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19), it is important we let you know the ways we’re supporting employers and their people during these challenging times and the behind-the-scenes work we’re doing to monitor, plan and implement our response to the outbreak for our clients.

As a Chartered Leadership safety and health company, many are looking to us to show leadership in situations like this affecting workplaces worldwide. As OSH professionals, we are a vital contribution to ensuring workplaces respond and adapt appropriately.

We have set up an internal team to prepare for a wide range of potential outcomes and impacts to our existing and new clients, and we have been busy emergency planning, scenario testing and creating easy-to-use guidance for clients and employers as the situation develops.

If you would like a copy of our LCS Guidance on Preparing for Workplaces for COVID-19, please email us direct at info@lcshub.co.uk

This gives useful information on preventative measures, emergency planning and ways of managing the safety, health and wellbeing of workers.  We do have a Policy to support your business and your people if required.

We are investigating where additional support is needed including, where appropriate, technical solutions to enable virtual meetings may be possible to help support our clients.

We recommend using trusted sources, such as the local government, HSE or the World Health Organization, who will be providing relevant and scientifically rigorous guidance.

During this challenging time, LCS and our team of professionals are well-placed to provide a voice of reason and authority within organisations around the world.

All businesses have a duty of care to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of their workers, and during this time we can all play a key role in advising, supporting and preventing further spreading of COVID-19.

We will be providing a range of new advice and resources over the coming days and weeks. See our LCSHub Page  for information.
